Eligibility Criteria for Central Railway Apprentice Posts
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have passed at least 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate of all subjects not best of five from recognized Board
- National Trade Certificate in the specialisation trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training is a must.

Age Relaxation
The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in the case of OBC candidates.
Disable person’s upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.

Selection Process for Central Railway Apprentice Posts 2021
Selection will be done on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who have already applied against the notification.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with at least of 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the specialisation trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.
The panel will take your recruitment decision on the basis of a simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Steps 1: Visit the Railway Recruitment Official website.
Step 2: To register or login with your existing account.
Step 3 : Now fill up your personal details/Bio-Data carefully.
Step 4: Candidates should ensure their name, father’s name, date of birth should exactly match as mentioned in Matriculation or equivalent certificate
Step 5: Candidates should upload their colour photograph in (size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm taken not before than three months from the date of application in colour, JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of the file must be between 20 kb-70 kb) with clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses .
Note – All eligible candidates willing to apply for the post of Railway Recruitment Cell are requested to have Aadhaar Card available with them as it will be compulsorily needed to establish identity in future online application process.
After the submission of an online application, a Registration number will be generated for the applicant.
Candidates are advised to note down their Registration Number and keep it with them safe for further stages of the engagement process/correspondence with RRC.
