Southern Railway Apprentice online form 2022 for 3150 post
Southern railway has announced 3150 apprentice vacancies for carriage work in Perambur, Central Workshop in Golden Rock & Signal & Telecommunication Workshop in Podnaur.
You can apply from 1 October to 31st October. As this is an apprentice program that means you will get trained in your selected trade for a fixed period but there is no guarantee of employment. But you can apply somewhere which requires this apprentice based qualification after your apprentice program gets over. Eligibility criteria for Southern railway apprenticeship 2022
The eligibility criteria for applying for the post of Apprentice in the Southern railway is begin divided into three categories:-
- a) Geographical – These vacancies are not released for all the people of India. Candidates from selected states and districts can apply.
- Tamil Nadu State
- Puducherry Union territory
- Kerala State
- Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands
- SPSR Nellore & Chittoor Districts of Andhra Pradesh
- Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka
- b) Age Limit – Fresh candidates should be in between 15 to 24 years and Ex ITUs should not exceed 24 years.
- c) Academic – 10th and 12th pass candidates who have scored more than 50% marks can apply and candidates from Ex ITI Vacancy who are 10th passed with NCVT certificate in relevant trade.
Process of applying
- Open a new tab in your web browser and enter the URL https://iroams.com/Apprentice22/recruitmentIndex in the address bar and you will reach the recruitment index page of the Railway Recruitment Cell for the vacancies of Apprentice.
- Click on the Register button to start filling out the application form.
- Begin with selecting the unit you wish to apply for.
- Then select your ITI / Fresher status.
- Choose the Division of the Unit.
- Finally, select your trade and you can fill the actual form now
- Agree to the Instructions, then provide the necessary information.
- Fill with a proper communication address, select in which state and district you want to apply.
- Photograph should not be more than 2 years old.
- Fill all the information of your educational qualification.
- Ex ITI have to provide the certificate.
- Click on process to next and preview the filled form.
- Fill the OTP and submit and print the form.
Selection basis
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic records provided in the online application form a merit list will be made based on these records.
The candidates who are shortlisted have to appear for the document verification at the allotted time and place assigned by the Southern railway authority.
