SSC Scientific Assistant IMD Online form 2022 for 990 posts
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released 990 vacancies for scientific assistant post on behalf of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). This exam is conducted by SSC so you have to fill the form through SSC website. What is SSC IMD scientific assistant exam?
This is a government job in Central Government highly demanding. All the students who are from science background that is they have completed their 10+2 with physics and mathematics as core subjects can apply for this SSC IMD scientific assistant exam.

Age limit

Eligibility criteria
Bachelor’s degree is science (with Physics as one of the subjects) or Diploma in electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. There are three more points of this criteria:-

✓ The qualifying degree or diploma referred above must be of three years duration after 10+2 examination.
✓ The applicant must have passed 10+2 with the subject of Science with physics and mathematics as core subjects.
How to apply for SSC IMD scientific assistant exam
- Go on the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in.
- Login with your I’d and password if you have previously applied for other jobs. If you are a new user then click on the new user registration option.
- A dashboard will get opened on your screen just after logging in. Scroll down and find the post for SSC IMD scientific assistant.
- Click on apply button. The form will get opened.
- Fill your name, nationality, date of birth and all the things asked on the form.
- After scrolling down select the preference of examination center in the 15th point. Select the nearest centers where you can appear.
- Fill the other details like are you an ex-serviceman, date of joining armed forces and all.
- Upload your photograph which should not be older than 4 months and then upload your signature.
- Click on the check box of agreeing and then fill up the captcha.
